Biography

Xia Long, male, PhD, graduated from Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology, majoring in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, under the supervision of Professor Zhang Yi, a renowned expert in maxillofacial surgery in China. He currently works at Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, engaging in clinical treatment and research in orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial aesthetic plastic surgery. He specializes in combined orthodontic-orthognathic treatment, reconstruction of post-traumatic deformities, and aesthetic plastic surgery of maxillofacial soft and hard tissues. He also serves as a council member of the Craniomaxillofacial Surgery Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetics and a youth committee member of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Special Committee of the Beijing Stomatological Association. He has participated in international academic exchanges on multiple occasions, been involved in multiple research projects including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and published multiple SCI papers.
